We are in the early stages of looking at IQMS as our new ERP system to replace Visual Manufacturing. I am quite impressed with the fact that it appears to be designed for the plastic injection industry. I think that quite a few of you use IQMS - I am interested to hear your feedback on how well it works - both from a manufacturing and an accounting standpoint. Thanks in advance for your input. Rick, this is a very good question. If you would like to reach out directly to IQMS Users, you may tap into the Business and Technical Resouce Director on this website located under the Member Section Tab at the top of the page. The Business and Technical Resource Directory is basically a "help list" of topics ranging from A to Z listing plastics professional who have offered up their contact information to help other MAPP Member companies. To find resources, simply go to scroll down in the directory to software and find the correct version or brand name you are comparing. Rick, Just saw your post, and would like to extend an invitation for you to contact me at anytime with any questions about IQMS. I mainly use the accounting side, AR, AP, GL, Budgets, System setup, etc..but am familiar with most modules. We have used IQ since 2000, and are very pleased with it. I have worked a lot with the reporting, adjusting reports to our needs. I like that you can use different reports for different customers / vendors by simply attaching them through the customer maintenance (BOL's, invoices, etc...) . We also set up external documents, which are attached through the inventory item (such as scanned in Mat'l Spec sheets) if they must ship with the product we set it to print automatically with the pack slip so it is never forgotten. There are a number of time saving benefits to IQ! Too many to mention. Auto invoicing in AR, PO & Reciving incorporated in AP, importing Excel budgets to compare to actual in GL, etc... Hi Rick, We have been using the full IQ package for years now. The real time data has proven to be invaluable to our customers and to us as managers. Like any progam this powerful, it take a little time getting all the data entered at 1st but the benefits far out weigh the costs. Rick, We have been using IQMS for about 7 years now. It's a great solution. It can be a bit salty, but it's nice because they have so many additional modules you can pick and choose to fit your needs and budget. It's beautiful how all the data flows from start to finish. With just a small amount of training on Crystal Reports we can tailor many reports to meet our specific needs. I'd be happy to answer any questions as well. We love IQMS! It truely offers a competetive advantage to anyone that has this system. Our inventory was off by less than 1% year-end last year. Our customers love the fact that we can track our shots off every mold and machine for PM purposes...Plus the ability to monitor your production performance and your costs REALTIME is priceless!
