Brian, I just checked with Scott Hart, Grainger's National Account Manager, about this condition. Basically, the catalogue does not keep up with the changes in the market place. In fact, as soon as the catalogue is printed, many items have already changed.
The internet pricing is the most reliable and current pricing in the Grainger System.
