Plastic Industry Forum - Converse with Plastics Processing Leaders / Business / MAPP Member to Host Infrared Spectroscopy Training
Posted:  29 Oct 2008 21:34
Dear MAPP Members:

Tasus Corporation, located in Bloomington, IN, would like to host an onsite training session on Infrared Spectroscopy; FTIR has proven useful for us here at Tasus in analyzing and obtaining knowledge about the consistency of the raw material coming into our facility.

It would be our desire to hold this training session on December 16-18 2008.  We are looking at bringing in the class entitled “FTIR Analysis of Polymers”… details of the course outline can be found at http://www.spectros1.com/c-polymer.html

The executive team at Tasus wanted to see if other MAPP Members would be interested in attending this training as we are making the attempt to offset the cost as it is relatively an expensive class.

It would be our desire to bring as many MAPP Members into our plant as possible as this will help to drive the cost per head down.

If any MAPP Member and / or industry professional is interested in teaming with us, I would need to know by November 7, 2008 in order to confirm the class with the instructor.  If you need more information please let me know, otherwise; I will stand-by for feedback.

Very Sincerely,

Jeff Fender
