Tech is considering using webinars as an informational marketing/ sales tool. We have used WebEx in the past but have found that attendees have a difficult time logging into the conference due to the required software download. Audio, possibly video and access to the hosts desktop may be considered. (Troy- what is MAPP using)

Does anyone have a platform that they can recommend that is easy for both the host and the attendees to use?

Cindy, MAPP has selected to use the GoTo Meeting webinar platform.

We have found the reliabiliy, ease of use, and user connectibility to be very important traits.  (There doesn't seem to be many "firewall" issues with our meeting attendees which is something we needed from such a platform.)

MAPP pays $49 per month but this user level does have a limitation on the number of meeting attendees that can participate.  GoTo Meeting does provide different service package options.

MAPP continually utilizes this meeting technology to increase awareness in the marketplace about our products and services, and new sales have been recognized as a result.

Cindy-

I've done a little research with this. I have looked at Boston conferencing, Telnect, Go to Webinar (which is like GoTo Meeting, which just a few added features) and a few other media outlets. I am impressed with Telenect because it also allows the webcam feature. I have not received their pricing yet, but as soon as I do I can let you know. You can check out their website at: http://www.telenect.com/. Feel free to call me and I can talk further with you about this.

To all:

Please post any follow up information here, so we all can see it.

I have been looking for this type information for the last year.  (Troy previously gave me some.)  We are considering using these services to supplement technical sales presentations and to conduct "on the air" service calls.  To be successful, use of a webcam will be required.

If anyone has experience or thoughts on these approaches, we would certainly like to hear them.
