Montrose Molders was recently invited to attend a global preferred supplier conference offered by Dover Corporation. Dover Corp. is a publically traded company with $7.5 Billion in revenue generated from 35 operating companies. They are looking to combine the purchasing power of these 35 companies which totals $34 million in injection molding purchases. There were 137 other molders at this conference in Chicago who were invited to participate in the RFI & RFP (291 items to quote).
I’m wondering if any other MAPP members attended this event and if you succeeded in submitting the required documents by the deadline of 6/21. Please let me know if you did and are you willing to discuss with me your thoughts on the entire process.

Todd, River Bend and several others were present at teh conference. We particpated in the process and completed the RFI and RFP and submitted to Dover 6/18. I would try to answer your questions if I can.
