Tech Molded Plastics, Inc. (www.ttmp.com), a full-service global, custom injection molding manufacturer in Northwestern Pennsylvania is seeking a Plastics Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 10 years supervisory/ management experience necessary
Minimum of 5 years plant management experience in an injection molding facility preferred or equivalent experience
Strong organizational leadership background with technical skills for high precision injection molding production required
The ability to motivate and grow teams through training, development, discipline and performance review
Solid leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written, and computer proficiency are a must
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to use and analyze information in order to establish priorities, plan work loads and resource allocation.
Experience in mold design , mold making , and scientific process engineering.
BS in plastics engineering or equivalent experience preferred
Profit and Loss (P&L) and administrative management experience
Continuous process improvement background (six sigma, lean manufacturing,5S)
Proficiency and understanding of material planning systems, shop floor control systems and safety and OSHA standards for a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of ISO-9000 required, TS knowledge is a plus
This position reports directly to the President and manages plastics production, production control, facilities maintenance, shipping and receiving.
