Tech Molded Plastics, Inc., a Meadville, Pennsylvania based manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced individual to manage Human Resources functions for a growing global business. The successful candidate will partner with management in developing and implementing a strategy to support the long-term business goals of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for fostering positive and effective employee relations throughout the operation. 

Advises and assists staff and line management with a broad range of human resources functions including coaching, conflict resolution, progressive discipline, and other sensitive matters.

Manages recruitment, pre-employment screening, orientation and the exit process for all employees.

Leads in the development and implementation of training and development activities in support of the company’s talent management plan.

Assists the Accounting Department in managing the company’s compensation programs including wage and salary and benefits administration. Provides direction and technical support for administrative activities such as new hire enrollment, annual open enrollment, COBRA, Workers Compensation, unemployment, and assisting employees with questions.

Develops and administers consistent HR policies which reinforce the culture and support long-term business goals.

Works closely with operations to manage comprehensive safety and health programs.

Continually enhance knowledge of state and federal regulations, current trends, and practices pertaining to Human Resources.



Requirements:
The ideal candidate will bring 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible human resources management or recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment with a Bachelors degree in Human Resources/ equivalent business degree. 
Ability to lead and drive change.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (written, oral and presentation skills).
Ability to pro-actively plan, schedule, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
Demonstrated strength in the following areas required: independent decision making, problem solving, time management, analytical thinking skills, and results orientation.
