How did you become involved in the plastics industry?

Through international relationships that were made as a result of membership in a trade association.

What is your favorite part about your current role?

Watching people grow and mature and, therefore, watching Makuta succeed.

What has been your proudest moment at your current organization?

Bringing people into Makuta who have taken responsibility for the success of Makuta.

At work, what are you most known for among your colleagues?

My enthusiasm for what the Makutians are doing.

How do you define success?

Makuta's mission statement is: Good Parts, On Time, Profitably. The goal statement is: To Make Our Lives Better.

What book are you currently reading?

A number of mystery stories

What is one thing about you that others would be surprised to learn?

I relax by being alone and reading.

If you weren't in the plastics industry, what would you be doing?

Education

What is your favorite thing or story about the MAPP organization?

The perseverance and professionalism of the staff, especially Troy, to make the organization what it has become. There are too many stories from the early days, especially having to do with board meetings at Metro Plastics and eating a lot of pizza.

How have you received value from the MAPP organization? What are the greatest benefits you currently receive?

The personal, professional and corporate relationships that have been formed since the founding of the organization are priceless. Those relationships continue to benefit Makuta, as well as me personally.
