MAPP to Release Seven Industry Studies in 2018

Indianapolis, IN – The Manufacturers Association for Plastics Processors (MAPP) will conduct seven unique benchmarking studies for the scope of 2018, all of which will result in industry reports available on the MAPP website. Alongside these studies, MAPP will also conduct three separate best practices collection activities.

MAPP is dedicated to creating and providing benchmarking information to the US plastics industry. This benchmarking data allows executives to make better and more informed decisions. With this role as an information hub for the industry, MAPP provides important industry benchmarks in a wide variety of areas, including, but not limited to:  general industry trends; financial metrics; human resource policies and procedures; operations and plant floor management; environmental, health and safety (EHS) procedures; machine rates and sales process and sales management to name a few.

For the scope of 2018, the MAPP association plans to conduct the following research: outlook and economic trends in the plastics industry, drug policies and procedures for manufacturers, machine and mold maintenance, tuition reimbursement, wage and salary for plastics employees, marketing in manufacturing, best practices in safety, educational outreach and innovation.

“One of MAPP’s primary mission objectives focuses on creating practical business benchmarks to help senior executives make better, more informed decisions and we feel these industry-driven studies reinforce this fact,” said Troy Nix, MAPP’s executive director.
