The MAPP Annual Meeting is held each year and brings together leaders from across the plastics industry to experience the benchmarking, problem solving and camaraderie that is the Manufacturers Association for Plastics Processors.

  • Hear from executive director Troy Nix & the MAPP staff on the current state of the association. This includes major highlights from 2020, as well as the first-ever look into what benefits and programming MAPP members can expect to see in the coming year.

• State of the Plastics Industry & What to Expect

  • Using data collected from hundreds of plastics companies over the last twelve months, Troy Nix will help leaders benchmark the performance and metrics of their operations. This presentation will cover industry KPIs such as capacity, backlog, quoting, sales, wage and labor trends and major challenges.

• Preparing for the Future: Leaders' Perspective

  • By learning from other leaders, plastics executives can begin to finetune their own plans for 2021. During this session, plastics manufacturing presidents and CEOs will share the strategies they used during 2020 to remain strong, along with their plans for navigating 2021 and beyond.

• Roundtable Sessions

  • Peers of similar interests will have the opportunity to gather and problem solve in this unique roundtable session. These sessions will break executives into groups based on their function and organization structure to learn from one another. These sessions could include private-equity-owned businesses; family-owned business; small manufacturers; female leadership, up-and-coming leadership, cultural and operational transformations, etc.

• Virtual Networking

  • After an afternoon of education, benchmarking and problem solving, MAPP will host a virtual networking opportunity. This will allow leaders to network with one another in a more relaxed atmosphere and make connections that could help them as they head into a new year.
