We have run both their prime and post (consumer/industrial). The prime works well. The other has many more challenges depending on the mold style and part geometry.

If you are talking about the tips in the mold, we typically will first try to put cardboard between the open halves of the mold, close the gate and try injection pressure to shoot thru the open mold/tips. If this doesn't work, we split the plates and pull the tips to remove the "plug" of resin which...

Resin Shipping Surcharges

How are others accurately capturing the various and new shipping charges so they can appropriately be assigned to each pound of resin? With the "delivery" and "fuel surcharges" being per delivery, this makes assigning it to each pound problematic.

Samir answered the same way we would. We do not collect sales tax on molds here in Indiana.

Personal property taxes are another story. Hope this helps.

We are also 13485 registered. Our registrar has not asked about our ERP software. We have always interpreted the validation rule as only applying software used with/in the device - not to run our company. We have purposely stayed away from device projects with software requirements for this reason.

Salaried Time Off

Can employers legally grant 1/2 and whole days off to salaried employees as part of the "time off" policy and charge those days against their allowed vacation? I have always been told that you must pay salaried employees for the entire week if any portion was worked.
