Supervisor Training

I was wondering if anyone has developed a skills matrix or training program for their production supervisors. We are in the process of developing one and I am looking for resources to ensure we are covering all of the key competencies/skills that an employee in a front line supervisory role should be trained on.. Any type of information such as an outline of courses or topics covered would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

Hey Adam!

Do you guys have any in-house training applications such as Paulson Training? We have several of their courses that we require of the Supervisors such as Injection Molding 101 up to Level 3 type courses. I can email you some other items if you'd like. Just let me know or we can chat next week at the Leadership conference.

This might be a long shot as this is an older post but I will also email you. I am trying to build a training program for our current and future workforce by position. Can you provide me some items which you have used or would recommend for training individuals in these positions.

Thank you,

We are working with a consultant to develop what we are calling "Servant Supervisor" Training. Supervisor training is readily available and tells them "what" to do. Our focus is also telling them "how" we want them to do it...modeling the concepts of Servant Leadership.

Would you be willing to share or provide information when you are done? Even what you feel is working best?
