Job Title: Director of Sales
Reports to: President

Qualifications:
 Appropriate experience in the plastics industry.
 A proactive, big picture thinker who plans and executes well
 A relationship builder
 Effective communications skills - written and verbal
 Appreciates a small company growth environment – short on silos, long on action.
 Comfortable & capable at facilitating technical discussions re plastic parts
 Reasonable understanding of plastics molding and manufacturing processes
 Live by the referability habits:

• Say please and thank you

Position responsibilities:
 Own the sales function at Blow Molded Specialties
 Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with company goals
 Develop and abide the sales department budget
 Develop and monitor the sales forecast
 Own the Front Stage Value Development Process
 Own the Quotations and Price Review Processes
 Process sales leads, quotations and follow-up to achieve sales goals
 Interface with BMS engineering as appropriate
 Direct the efforts of sales reps and the sales administrator
 Support prospect and customer relationships with creative, effective and timely problem solving.
 Actively participate on BMS’ management and senior management teams.
 Collaborate with marketing to maximize sales opportunities.
 Contribute to marketing strategy development
 Utilize the IQMS based CRM system.
 Support implementation of the IQMS engineering quote system
 Travel as appropriate to visit customers, prospects, participate in trade shows, etc.
 Coordinate the negotiation of supply agreements with customers
