I am looking for guidance for what other companies are using as a framework for discipline for safety violations. I am looking to provide clarity to my managers and supervisors around discipline for safety violations for which an employee may be disciplined or discharged. i.e. what constitutes a verbal, written, suspension and or immediate termination.
I am looking for examples of what has worked in other companies. Our goal is to raise awareness of safety, reduce near misses, incidents and injuries and build a more safety conscious culture.
