How did you become involved in the plastics industry?

I am a third generation owner of a custom injection and blow molding company, Falcon Plastics. I have been working at Falcon Plastics at some capacity for as long as I can remember. Falcon Plastics was my first job and I hope it will be my last.

What is your favorite part about your current role?

I enjoy working with customers and developing projects from start to finish.

What has been your proudest moment at your current organization?

My proudest moment was taking on a dying customer account and revitalizing it to one of our fastest growing sales accounts.

At work, what are you most known for among your colleagues?

At work, I am most known for relationship building and finding a positive twist for every situation.

How do you define success?

Success is the ability to proudly and confidently accomplish your core values and commitments.

What book are you currently reading?

I haven't started it yet, but "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu is sitting on my desk and will be my next read.

What other groups or organizations are you active in?

I am very active in my local chamber of commerce, mainly as an ambassador to new businesses and with my local YP network. I am active with the MAPP YP group. I sit on the BOD of my local United Way, and am very involved with the Prairie Family Business Association.

What is one thing about you that others would be surprised to learn?

A couple surprising facts about me is that I love gardening and my favorite type of radio is talk radio.

If you weren't in the plastics industry, what would you be doing?

If I wasn't in the plastics industry, I would likely be working for a financial institution in some fashion.

What is your favorite thing or story about the MAPP organization?

My favorite thing about the MAPP organization is the opportunity to see new things, get new ideas, and form a strong network through the conferences and plant tours that MAPP organizes.

How have you received value from the MAPP organization? What are the greatest benefits you currently receive?

The most valuable thing about MAPP is the strong network that it is helping me form.
