How did you become involved in the plastics industry?

The hands-on program at ISU intrigued me and found the future very promising.

What is your favorite part about your current role?

My favorite part about my current role is the interaction and coaching done on a daily basis. I am privileged with being entrusted with so many great people.

What has been your proudest moment at your current organization?

HPC being chosen for an AME tour site.

At work, what are you most known for among your colleagues?

I am known for getting ideas and information moving forward while being fair and reasonable.

How do you define success?

When an Employee Owner is recognized by peers and other team-mates.

What book are you currently reading?

What other groups or organizations are you active in?

Association for Manufacturing Excellence

What is one thing about you that others would be surprised to learn?

I am not a confident presenter and speech was my worst class in college.

If you weren't in the plastics industry, what would you be doing?

I would be captaining a boat in the Mediterranean.

What is your favorite thing or story about the MAPP organization?

The speech Troy gave about people not giving enough High-Fives. This resonated with me and how I interacted with the plant on a daily basis.

How have you received value from the MAPP organization? What are the greatest benefits you currently receive?

The networking is great and finding people with similar issues. The organization also helps you reflect on your own situation while giving to others. The sense of selflessness the group promotes makes the interaction so valuable.
