We are looking for a key individual to not only lead operations, but also to support team members at our Falls City, Nebraska location! This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join our team and hone their skills by providing leadership for the day to day production, processing and process mentoring, maintenance, warehouse, and purchasing activities. The position works in conjunction with all other areas of the company to ensure customer’s needs are being met in a safe and efficient work environment. Works to achieve operational and financial business objectives.
Essential job functions include:
•Responsible for a safe work environment focused on OSHA standards through operations directed safety committee with a continuous improvement effort to drive safety incidents to zero.
•Plastic injection molding processing abilities, problem solving, mistake proofing, and ability to mentor others.
•Supports introduction of new customers to business from capabilities to continued quality assurance once in production.
•Responsible for meeting customer’s and the company’s mutually beneficial expectations.
•Responsible for compliance with and enhancement of Quality System(s): ISO-9001:2008 quoting and launches requiring ROI assessment, presentation and executive management approval.
•Passionate belief in a continuous improvement culture, by involving people in teams, developing others within to become future team leaders, and by coaching and developing problem solving teams with a deep understanding of servant leadership.
•Develop metrics and dashboard measures designed to include the entire plant population in both understanding of key performance indicators and necessary actions to improve KPI’s.
•Review and aid in developing KPI’s.
•Facilitate successful “Kaizen – Rapid Improvement Process” events. Support all required follow through and assist in sustaining improvements established during events.
•Provide overall guidance and consultation to the Falls City, Nebraska team focusing on the perfection of Lean Manufacturing techniques. Identify opportunities for improvements and continually evaluate results while sustaining what has been gained.
•B.S. degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or other related experience.
•Minimum 3 years Plant Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager experience.
•Minimum 3 years proven process engineering skills in a plastics injection molding facility.
Knowledge, skills and Abilities required:
•Ability to work in a team-based environment.
•Knowledge of plastic injection molding industry and assembly processes.
•Strong interpersonal communication skills.
•Strong and proven financial acumen.
