2020 MAPP Innovation Award Voting Now Open

                                         Annual MAPP Innovation Award Voting Now Open

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (September 17, 2020) ‐ The Manufacturers Association for Plastics Processors (MAPP) officially announced the voting process for the 2020 MAPP Innovation Award is now open. The submissions cover innovations in using technology on the plant floor.

This award looks to recognize those members doing the "small" things that it takes to get ahead in this increasingly competitive industry. This year's focus is on Technology on the Plant Floor. Members were asked to submit videos, pictures and/or descriptions of how they have found innovative ways to utilize technology throughout their facility.

This year’s submissions include best practices in using cobots, automation, Industry 4.0, business intelligence tools and streamlining data delivery across the organization.

The winners of the 2020 Innovation Awards will be announced at the 2020 Benchmarking and Best Practices Virtual Conference.

This is the sixth year for the MAPP Innovation Award, which was established to recognize innovative solutions to common issues. This award allows MAPP members to benchmark best practices and submissions are shared in the annual Best Practices Book.

Over 23 final submissions were submitted for voting. Voting closes Friday, September 25th.
